Vedang Raina is excited about his upcoming release, Jigra. The actor is keeping busy with the promotions of the film, joined by the lead star Alia Bhatt. On Wednesday, the actor was spotted at the airport, flying to a destination unknown to us. Paparazzi posted the clip on social media, leaving fans’ hearts melting over Vedang’s dashing looks.
Seemingly in haste, Vedang Raina made his way to the airport immediately after getting out of his car. Despite the rush, he greeted the paparazzi, striking poses for them with a bright smile on his face. He was also engrossed in a quick chit-chat with the shutterbugs on his way to catch his flight, proving his down-to-earth demeanour. For his jet-set look, Vedang kept it comfy yet stylish in a black jacket with matching relaxed pants. For a contrasting touch, he wore a white T-shirt underneath the jacket. Elevating the look were his white sneakers and statement sunglasses, highlighting the actor’s understanding of fashion.

Vedang Raina will impress fans with his singing as well as acting finesse in Jigra. He has lent voice for the title track of the film and the reprised version of Phoolon Ka Taron Ka. In proof of his excitement, Vedang shared a BTS video from the filming of the song wherein he says, “Today we are shooting for Oo Jigra rock version and it’s a bit of a music video. It’s my first and I am super excited.”
The caption attached to the post included Vedang’s heartfelt emotions as he wrote, “As a 10 year old, all I would do was imagine myself in a packed arena, singing on stage and a crowd cheering me on. This is the closest I’ve gotten to that dream and I loved every second of it. Thanking my stars every single day because this doesn’t even feel like real life anymore.”

In another interview with Mansworld India, Vedang Raina also reflected on the impact of Jigra’s shooting on his mental health. Contrary to his co-star Alia Bhatt, the actor found it hard to “come in and out of character.” It did impact my mental health a bit,” Vedang said during the conversation.
Directed by Vasan Bala, Jigra is co-produced by Alia and Karan Johar under the banner of Eternals Sunshine Productions and Dharma Productions respectively.
