Tamil film industry’s renowned actor, Ajith Kumar was busy shooting for his eagerly-awaited film Vidaamuyarchi in Azerbaijan. Yesterday, on July 2, the actor was spotted at Chennai International Airport, returning from his extensive film shoot.
Reportedly, the actor joined his crew in Azerbaijan on June 20 to complete the shoot of a few action sequences. Now, it is yet to be confirmed if the shoot has been wrapped up there, or if will it resume again after a few weeks. However, the video of his arrival has created a buzz on the internet.
At the airport, Ajith Kumar was seen dressed in a black hoodie and matching joggers carrying a silver luggage bag and walking towards his car. He was flocked by his delighted fans who wanted to get selfies with their favourite star. However, despite their attempts, the actor did not stop to pose for photos and got inside his Innova car.

A user tweeting the video wrote, “Ajjth Kumar came to Chennai from Azerbaijan. He will be again travelling to Azerbaijan after a few days to resume (the) Vidaamuyarchi shoot.” One user claimed that the actor was going to Trichy. Another quickly pointed out, “Seems like both Ajith Kumar and Thalapathy love Toyota Innova cars.”
On June 30, the makers of Vidaamuyarchi released the highly-anticipated first-look poster of the upcoming film. The poster shows the actor carrying a bag on a deserted road in a black crew-neck t-shirt, a black leather jacket, black pants and sneakers. He also sported a cool blue sunglasses. The production house shared the poster in both Tamil and English on social media. The caption read, “Presenting the much-awaited first look of Vidaamuyarchi. Brace yourselves for a gripping tale where perseverance meets grit (sic).”

Vidaamuyarchi is an action thriller directed by Magizh Thirumeni. It is headlined by Ajith Kumar. It will also star Arjun Sarja, Trisha Krishnan, Regina Cassandra and Arav in key roles. The shoot for the film began in October 2023 and the film is slated to grace the silver screens in Diwali 2024. It is produced by Lyca Productions. The music is handled by Anirudh Ravichander.
