The new look of 'Delhi Belly' star Vir Das from his upcoming film '31 October' is out. The stand up comic turned is totally unrecognisable as a an old sardar.
Directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Shivaji Patil, '31 October' is a story of survivors of 1984 riots. Vir plays Devender Singh, an elderly Sikh man trying to get his wife Tejinder Kaur (played by Soha Ali Khan) and his family to safety, in the aftermath of the 1984 riots following the assassination of Indira Gandhi.
Das will be seen essaying the role of Devender from 30 to 60 years of age. The film has garnered positive response in London and Toronto Film Festivals.
Looks like 2016 has a lot in store for the actor as after doing an adult comedy, Das is stepping into the drama genre with a family film and comedy to follow.
