Triptii Dimri REPLACES Samantha Ruth Prabhu For a Dance Number In Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2? Know Here

Triptii Dimri became the national crush after she featured in Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal in December last year. Popularly known as ‘Bhabhi 2’, the actress is on a success spree ever since the release of Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s directorial. If recent reports are to be believed, Triptii will now be seen in Allu Arjun’s most-awaited movie, Pushpa 2: The Rule.

As reported by Bollywood Now, Triptii has been roped in by the makers of Pushpa 2 for a spicy dance number. Reportedly, the actress will be seen setting the stage on fire with Allu Arjun in this new track. However, there is no official confirmation regarding this as of now.

Interestingly, it was Samantha Ruth Prabhu who stunned everyone with her sizzling ‘Oo Antava’ performance in the first part of Pushpa. The song and her dance moves were widely loved by the audience.

Directed by Sukumar, the last leg of shooting for Pushpa 2 is currently underway. Besides Allu Arjun, the film also stars Rashmika Mandanna in the lead. Earlier this year, the makers of Pushpa 2 released the teaser of the film on Allu Arjun’s birthday. In the teaser, Allu Arjun was seen dressed in a saree with his face painted in shades of blue and red. He also sported makeup with heavy traditional gold and flower jewellery. He was seen beating up goons.

Later, Rashmika also talked about the much-awaited film when she promised that it would be “bigger” than ever. “I can promise you that Pushpa 2 is going to be so much bigger. We gave some madness in the first film, in part 2, we know we have a responsibility because people have so much expectation from the film. We are constantly and consciously trying to deliver that,” she told Pinkvilla.

Currently, the makers of Pushpa 2 are gearing up to release the film’s second song, Sooseki. The song will feature lead couple Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna and will be released on May 29.

Meanwhile, earlier this year, Peeping Moon reported that editor Antony Ruben left Pushpa 2 due to date-related issues. The entertainment portal claimed that Naveen Nooli might be roped in to complete the film’s editing. This left fans wondering if the change in editor might lead to a delay in Pushpa 2’s release.

However, the makers later clarified that Pushpa 2 is not getting delayed and will hit theatres as scheduled i.e. on August 15, 2024. “Pushpa 2 will be releasing on August 15; that’s a firm commitment,” a source close to the production told Hindustan Times. “Allu Arjun will complete shooting for the film this month, and by June, the rest of the shooting will be wrapped up. So there’s no possibility of the film being delayed,” another insider added.
