According to reports, he was so in love with Parveen Babi that he abandoned everything and moved to Mumbai. His luck then changed as he became a dreaded Bollywood villain. In the 1990s, this man who portrayed the villain appeared in several popular films and dominated the Bollywood industry with his outstanding performances.

The actor is none other than Bob Christo. He was born in Sydney. The actor saw Parveen Babi’s photo in a magazine and was so fascinated by her that he decided to go to India to meet her.

In a media interaction, Bob Christo shared that he first met Parveen Babi when he visited Mumbai. Since their first meeting, he has developed a crush on her. Parveen Babi helped him secure various Bollywood projects.

According to reports, Bob Christo worked in around 200 Hindi films throughout the 1980s and 1990s. Some of these include Qurbani (1980), Kaalia (1981), Nastik (1983), Mard (1985) and Mr India (1987), among others.

During the later stages of his life, Bob Christo moved to Bangalore and began working as a yoga instructor. He has kept his distance from the film business since 2003.

Bob Christo died at 72 in Bengaluru in March 2011. He is survived by his wife, Nargis, and two sons. He also has two daughters named Monique and Nicole, from his previous marriage.

On the other hand, Babi remained unmarried after a string of relationships with Kabir Bedi, Danny Denzongpa and Mahesh Bhatt. She was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia, which came to attention after a series of incidents went viral. She also suffered from diabetes and knee osteoarthritis. Babi died on January 20, 2005, from multi-organ failure.
