The famous comic strip 'Peanuts' has come alive again on screen to entertain the fans of Charles M. Schulz's creation. Directed by Steve Martino and written by Craig and Bryan Schulz 'Snoopy and Charlie Brown: The Peanuts Movie' stars the voices of Noah Schnapp as Charlie Brown and, via archival recordings, Bill Melendez as Snoopy and Woodstock.
It is the fifth feature film on the strip and first one after 35 years. It commemorates the 65th anniversary of the comic strip and 50th anniversary of the TV special A Charlie Brown Christmas.
The film sees Charlie Brown trying to improve his odds with the Little Red-Haired Girl. Snoopy writes a book about the Flying Ace, as he imagines himself as a legend trying to save his love interest and pilot, Fifi, from the Red Baron and his army.
The film has garnered extremely positive response in the west and it set to lure the audience here. Will it be able to live up to the 'Peanuts' fame and reputation? Sameeksha from IBNLive was inside the theater to find out.
