Sushant Singh Rajput's Sister Visits Kedarnath Ahead Of Actor's Death Anniversary: 'Felt An Urge To...'
Sushant Singh Rajput's sister got emotional on her trip, which she took to feel closer to her late brother.

Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti often remembers her late brother via her social media posts. Today, ahead of Sushant’s fourth death anniversary, Shweta took to her Instagram to share that she visited Kedarnath to feel closer to her late brother.

Sharing the pictures on Instagram, Shweta wrote, “It is the 1st of June, and four years ago on the 14th of this month, we lost our dearest Sushant. Even now, we are still searching for answers about what happened on that tragic day.”

She added, “I came to Kedarnath to pray, to remember, and to feel close to Bhai. The day was incredibly emotional; as soon as I landed in Kedarnath, tears began to flow. I walked for a while but eventually had to sit down and cry my heart out, feeling his presence all around me. I felt an overwhelming urge to hug him. I sat and meditated where he had meditated, and in those moments, I felt he was still with me, within me, living through me. It felt as if he had never left.”

She wrote, “Yesterday in Phata, there was no internet connection. While sitting in my car, I managed to open Instagram and saw only one post in my feed: a picture of Bhai in Kedarnath with a Sadhu. I knew I had to meet that Sadhu, and by God’s grace, I was able to. I’m attaching that picture for reference. Grateful to God for making this happen. ❤️”

Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Mumbai apartment in June 2020. While some suspected to be a case of death by suicide, others had alleged foul play. Her sister has been fighting for justice ever since.

In April this year, Shweta Singh Kirti launched an online campaign to seek justice for her brother’s death. She announced ‘Nany 4 SSR Jan Andolan’. As a part of this campaign, Shweta urged everyone to tie a red cloth on their wrist or forehead, post the video on social media and request agencies to give justice to the late actor.

Prior to this, in the month of March, Shweta issued a video statement and urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to look into the CBI probe regarding her actor-brother’s death. In her statement, Shweta shared that it’s been 45 months since her brother passed away but they still do not have any update from the investigating agency. She argued that Prime Minister Modi’s help will not only fasten the probe but will also provide relief to “howling hearts”.
