Ever since the news of Suriya’s upcoming film Kanguva was announced, fans have been buzzing with excitement. The trailer launch took social media by storm with its amazing background score and cinematography. The high-budget action-packed drama will also see Bobby Deol marking his debut in the Tamil industry as an antagonist opposite Suriya, who will play the role of a mighty warrior. A recent update regarding one of the film’s biggest scenes has been revealed.
Kanguva is one of the ambitious projects helmed by Siva whose teaser has already sent the fandom into a frenzy. What makes the film more exciting is that is it being made on a huge budget and is billed as one of the big-budget films of the year. If reports are anything to go by, the pan-world flick is being made on a staggering budget of Rs 350 crore. Now, as per the latest updates, the film boasts one of the biggest war scenes on the silver screen and about 10,000 people are involved in it. Reportedly, the war and action sequences are being shot to perfection under international expertise.
As per India Today, a source revealed the portal, “The makers, Studio Green, along with director Siva and the entire team, have worked on every aspect of the war sequences to do justice to the theme and subject. The film has the biggest war sequence, featuring Suriya Sivakumar, Bobby Deol, and more than 10,000 people.”
The teaser has already offered a glimpse of what the audience should expect from the film. This larger-than-life setting will show two time periods, terrific war sequences, exceptional cinematography and an apt background score. As promising as it looks, it also aims to create a unique film-watching experience with never-before-seen action and stunts for the viewers. The cinematography is being handled by Vetri Palanisamy and the music is by Devi Sri Prasad.
As per reports, Kanguva is slated for a release in late 2024. It will star Bollywood actress Disha Patani, marking her Tamil debut with the film. The fantasy action-thriller also stars Natarajan Subramaniam, Jagapathi Babu, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, Anandaraj, Ravi Raghavendra, K. S. Ravikumar and BS Avinash in crucial roles.
