Sivakarthikeyan’s Amaran To Clash With Rajinikanth And Ajith Kumar Films At The Box Office?

Tamil cinema audiences can expect a box office clash between two most prominent stars, that is Sivakarthikeyan and Ajith Kumar. Sivakarthikeyan’s much-anticipated film Amaran will be released at the cinemas on October 31, during the Diwali week; Ajith’s film VidaaMuyarchi is also expected to be released at the same time. Raajkamal Films International has tweeted the release date of Amaran with a poster of Sivakarthikeyan. This poster shows him dressed in a black vest and blood splattered on his body. On the other hand, VidaaMuyarchi’s poster shows Ajith dressed in black apparel, and walking on the road. VidaaMuyarchi’s release date is expected to be announced soon.

In Amaran, Sivakarthikeyan plays Major Mukund Varadarajan, a real-life hero and recipient of the Ashoka Chakra, India’s highest peacetime gallantry award. The film narrates his bravery and sacrifice during a counter-terrorism operation. Besides this aspect, the presence of the talented Sai Pallavi as the female lead increased the buzz amongst the audience. Besides Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi, Rahul Bose, Bhuvan Arora, Shyam Mohan, Vikas Bangar, Prayas Mann and others will also act in this film.

In VidaaMuyarchi, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Sanjay Dutt, Trisha Krishnan, Arun Vijay, Arjun Sarja and others will also act.

What has added to the competition is Rajinikanth’s upcoming film Vettaiyan, which may reportedly be released on Diwali. Lyca Productions, which will be distributing Vettaiyan, shared the poster featuring a gun-wielding Rajinikanth. “Kuri vechachu. VETTAIYAN is all set to take charge in cinemas this OCTOBER. As per the reports, Vettaiyan is a hard-hitting action entertainer, based on a true story. Rajinikanth will reportedly play a Muslim police officer in the film. In an earlier interaction, the veteran actor said that TJ Gnanavel’s Vettaiyan is likely to be wrapped up by the end of March. Rajinikanth had said that he will then take a break and move on to director Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Coolie. This film boasts of a stellar cast which includes Amitabh Bachchan, Rana Daggubati, Fahadh Faasil, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh and Dushara Vijayan in pivotal roles. Produced by Lyca Productions, the film will have music composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
