In 2017, Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez, last seen together in A Gentleman: Sundar, Susheel, Risky, brought the heat to the Koffee With Karan couch.
Among the juicy revelations on the show, one that piqued interest was their response to Karan’s question, “Have you been part of a mile-high club… like have you made out on a plane?” This question was part of a game where they had to do coffee shots if they answered ‘Yes.’ Surprisingly, both stars toasted to Karan’s question about the mile-high club. This sparked a conversation about the plane they were on and its luxurious amenities. Sidharth revealed his favourite plane for such escapades is the swanky Airbus A380. The duo also gushed about its features like the “big bathroom, big bed, comfortable suites… and lots of privacy.”
Sidharth even quipped about checking the plane type before booking any flight, insisting on the Airbus A380. Jacqueline chimed in, jokingly saying that she makes sure her contracts specify the plane must be an Airbus A380.
As Jacqueline and Sidharth both raised a toast to being part of the mile high club, Karan cheekily asked, “Was it with each other?” To this, Sidharth cleared his throat, raised an eyebrow and said, “No. We were in different flights, Karan.”
During the game round, the duo also revealed that they have taken showers with their partners at some point and have had phone sex.
Back when the film released, the audience was interested in what was cooking between the two actors, given their chemistry. They even shot “the longest kiss in Bollywood” for the film. Reacting to the rumours, Jacqueline had said to IANS that she wouldn’t stop working with a co-star she is linked with. She had said, “If that was the case, then I wouldn’t be working with a lot of co-stars because link-up rumour is something that the media is obsessed with. So no, that doesn’t mean that you stop working with people because of that. It’s important to continue working with them because you know yourself that they (rumours) are not true. Sid (Sidharth) and I are extremely good friends. We have worked together twice now in Brothers and A Gentleman…,.”
