Siddharth Anand Praises 'Munna' Tiger Shroff, Ali Abbas Zafar In BMCM Review: 'Thoroughly Enjoyed It'
Siddharth Anand shared his review of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and praised Tiger Shroff. However, the director seemingly skipped tagging Akshay Kumar.

Siddharth Anand was all praise for Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. The filmmaker, who released his film Fighter earlier this year, attended a special screening held in Mumbai on Wednesday night. After the screening, the Pathaan director took to his Instagram Stories and shared his review. He praised his ‘munna’, Tiger Shroff, and director Ali Abbas Zafar in his review. However, he seemingly skipped tagging Akshay Kumar.

“Tiger Shroff, my Munna! You were too good! So refreshing to see you in a light hearted and fun role after long.. Good luck, Ali Abbas Zafar, bro! Wish you big success again! Thoroughly enjoyed the film.. fun banters, filled with action and a superb interval twist! Extremely well produced so congratulations Vashuji and Jacky! Go enjoy the film on the big screen guys!!!” Siddharth Anand wrote.

Vashu Bhagnani and Pooja Entertainment present Bade Miyan Chote Miyan in association with AAZ films. Written and directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, and Produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Jackky Bhagnani, Himanshu Kishan Mehra, Ali Abbas Zafar. The film stars Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Sonakshi Sinha, Alaya F and Manushi Chillar in pivotal roles.

News18 gave the film a 3-star rating and wrote in the review: “It would be wrong to call Bade Miyan Chote Miyan just an action entertainer. It also has elements of science-fiction and while it’s a great attempt to match shoulders with the West, it ends up being a loud and ludicrous mishmash. The film’s weakest link happens to be its writing which is lazy and marked with threadbare clichés.”

“Akshay and Tiger’s fun banters where they try to one-up each other provide a much needed respite amid all the combat scenes. Tiger gets almost all the funny one-liners and repartees and he plays a role that’s tailor-made for him. Chote is suave, swashbuckling and a smooth charmer who revels in his comfort zone as he kicks and walks on air every now and then. Akshay is equally heroic and some of their scenes together are pure gold,” the review added.
