Mumbai: Shreya Ghoshal has recorded a song for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming magnum opus Padamavati and the singer calls the track a "landmark" in her career. The 32-year-old Dewaani Mastaani singer took to Twitter to share the news with her fans.
"Recorded a landmark song of my life today. Soul satisfying emotional joy ride. I live just to be able to experience such moments!" she initially wrote. The bong melody queen appreciated the 53-year-old director's music coposition in the film and went on writing, "Wondering which song! What outstanding compositions Sanjay Bhansali sir has made for #Padmavati. Sang with all heart!".
The film will reportedly star Bhansali's favourite pair Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh.
Ghoshal, whose Bollywood playback singing career began with Bhansali's Devdas, has also worked with him on his other movies Bajirao Mastani, Ram Leela and Saawariya.
