Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu have captured audiences with their striking chemistry in the teaser for their next series, Citadel: Honey Bunny. The teaser, which was released on August 1, piqued spectators’ interest by highlighting the duo’s dynamic performances as well as the action-packed narrative. Post the teaser launch, Varun Dhawan shared a carousel of pictures and expressed his gratitude for their enthusiastic support of his and Samantha’s “Pan India Chemistry." The actress in turn also reacted to her co-stars special post.
Varun shared several glimpses from the teaser launch and wrote, “North boy + South girl = pan INDIA chemistry. Yesterday was everything I hoped for. Thank you for the love on the teaser. Teaming up with Raj and DK has been fantastic over that; getting the Russo brothers to produce this with d2r films is even more special." Soon enough, Samantha Ruth Prabhu reacted to his post, “Yeah Baby (Fire emoji)" Not only Samantha, But Varun’s close friend, Arjun Kapoor also commented, “Sty-lish fella!!!"
In the teaser, Varun and Samantha are shown performing hard action routines. Samantha is seen in one scene with two pistols, preparing to engage in a fight with two opponents. She also appears in a fight scene with Varun. Prime Video India also shared a new poster on Instagram for the series with the caption, “Honey Bunny… Release date declassified! #CitadelHoneyBunnyOnPrime #CitadelOnPrime #CitadelHoneyBunny."
Citadel, the highly awaited action series starring Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu, has released a riveting first teaser. This thrilling series promises to take viewers on a wild voyage of espionage, romance, and self-discovery. In addition to Varun and Samantha, it stars Kay Kay Menon, Simran, Soham Majumdar, Shivankit Singh Parihar, Kashvi Majmundar, Saquib Saleem and Sikandar Kher in key parts. Citadel: Honey Bunny will be released on November 7 on Prime Video.
Varun has been working on several projects, including John Baby. According to reports, he has once again collaborated with his father, David Dhawan, for a film tentatively titled Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai. Reportedly, Varun Dhawan and Mrunal Thakur have completed the first schedule of filming as well. Samantha Ruth Prabhu last appeared in Kushi. The love drama also included Vijay Deverakonda along with Samantha as the main lead. Samantha also has another project in the works, Bangaram beside Citadel.
