Varun Dhawan is currently in the headlines after the first look of his next film Baby John was released today. The actor has been getting an overwhelming response from all around. Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who will be seen in Citadel with Varun Dhawan, also heaped praises on him. She took to her Instagram stories and dropped fire emojis.
Sharing the first look video, she dropped hearts and wrote, ‘Masssssss’. She even tagged Atlee in the caption. Titled Baby John, the highly anticipated film is set to release on May 31, 2024. The film will also star Keerthy Suresh and Wamiqa Gabbi in key roles. The title announcement came with a little glimpse of Varun in and as Baby John, which will leave you intrigued and wanting to know more about this action entertainer.

The film marks the Hindi film debut of Keerthy Suresh and also features Wamiqa Gabbi, who is making her silver screen debut. The electrifying starcast also includes Jacky Shroff and Rajpal Yadav in the action entertainer. Baby John is an S. Thaman musical. Besides Atlee, the film is produced by Murad Khetani, Priya Atlee, and Jyoti Deshpande. The project is also presented by Jio Studios in association with A for Apple Studios and Cine1 Studios.
Talking about the film with Pinkvilla, Varun Dhwan said, “All I can say is it’s a mass-action entertainer. There is a lot of entertainment in the film, which I love as well. And I’m just going to give it my all.”
Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Varun Dhawan will be soon sharing screen space in a web series Citadel. Recently, they took to their Instagram handles to share photos of themselves watching the show with makers Raj and Dk. They even added a little note that read, “Finally, we got to watch something…And we are like .”
Directed by Raj and DK, Citadel is the Indian adaptation of the International series of the same name which was created by the director duo, the Russo Brothers. According to strong reports, the actress is performing high-octane action sequences in the film along with Varun Dhawan.
