Tamil filmmaker Atlee made a dramatic entry into Hindi cinema with the largely successful, Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Jawan. The film went on to become a phenomenal success, earning more than Rs 1000 crore at the box office. Atlee has now become well known in Bollywood as well. There were reports saying that he has roped in another Khan for his sophomore Hindi project. Atlee will work with Salman Khan for his next Hindi project. TJust how Jawan had Tamil stars like Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in pivotal roles, this Atlee directed film will feature a Tamil superstar as well. It is none other than Kamal Haasan. Latest reports suggest that Atlee is bringing together Kamal Haasan and Salman Khan for his latest project. Filming is set to begin in January next year, with pre-production starting in October this year. Sources previously mentioned that Atlee has been in talks with the two megastars for several months, and everything is progressing smoothly. Both Salman Khan and Kamal Haasan are excited about the project reportedly, which is designed as a dual-lead film requiring true superstars. The final paperwork will be completed once they hear the full narration later this month, as per reports.
This upcoming project marks Atlee’s first collaboration with Salman Khan and Kamal Haasan, promising a cinematic spectacle for the audience. A source also noted that after the success of Jawan, Atlee has been dedicated to creating one of the biggest action films in Indian cinema. In the meantime, Salman Khan is doing a film with yet another Tamil director, AR Murgadoss of Ghajini fame. The film is titled Sikander and is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.The Eid 2025 date has been locked for the release of Sikandar.
