Ruchira Jadhav Pays Respect To Chhatrapati Shivaji, Recalls Incident From Bigg Boss House

As the nation celebrated the auspicious occasion of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s birth anniversary on February 19, Marathi actress Ruchira Jadhav dropped a post on Instagram extending her heartfelt wishes to her fans on the occasion. Known for her appearance in the fourth season of Bigg Boss Marathi, Ruchira reminisced about an incident from the house, offering a glimpse into her principles and unwavering respect for Chhatrapati Shivaji.

Ruchira went down memory lane as she recollected an incident from the Bigg Boss house to share with her fans on the occasion. She wrote, “Want to share a memory on the occasion of Shiv Jayanti. While in Big Boss’s house, a celebrity used to visit us every week for entertainment. On one Friday, a renowned person, who was an artist, with a connection in politics as well, also visited us. While he was about to exit the house, one of the contestants asked us to bow in front of him in a significant display of respect and honour.”

Ruchira added, “Everyone bowed down but I kept standing the same way. Later, the contestants asked me why didn’t bow down, I said, I bow down only in front of Shivaji Maharaj. Principle is principle. I have never pretended and I never will. And if we don’t know where to bow down down and where not, what did we learn from the king.”

Notably, the actress entered the reality show along with her boyfriend Rohit Shinde. The couple’s relationship saw a lot of ups and downs in the house following which they parted ways after coming out of the show.
