The 60th Baeksang Arts Awards has announced its nominees, representing the best in Korean entertainment from television shows to films. The nominees were selected from a pool of productions that aired or were released between April 1, 2023, and March 31, 2024, with the series requiring at least one-third of it to have aired by the end of March. Eligibility criteria for Best New Actor included starring in no more than three productions. Productions excluded last year due to their release dates were also considered this year.

– Best Director: Nominees include Park In Je for Moving, Lee Myung Woo for Boyhood, Lee Chang Hee for A Killer Paradox, and others.
– Best Screenplay: Nominees include Kang Full for Moving, Kim Eun Hee for Revenant, Bae Se Young for The Good Bad Mother, and others.
– Best Technical Direction: Nominees include Kim Dong Shik and Im Wan Ho for Whales and I – camera, Yang Hong Sam and Park Ji Won for Revenant – art, and others.

The 60th edition of the Baeksang Arts Awards, scheduled to be held on May 7 at the COEX in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, will be a grand celebration of Korean entertainment’s finest. The event, broadcast live on JTBC, JTBC2, and JTBC4, promises a night filled with glitz, glamour, and recognition for the outstanding achievements in Korean television and film over the past year.
