R Madhavan On Receiving A Rousing Welcome At An Event: 'Surreal And Flattering'

Bollywood actor R Madhavan recently attended QNET’s V Malaysia Convention 2024, its flagship annual event in Penang, Malaysia. He was invited as a special guest on Day 3 of the convention. Madhavan shared a video from the event, giving a glimpse of the venue with the crowd cheering and clapping aloud. In the video, as the host welcomed the Bollywood star on stage, the crowd broke into loud cheers before going all silent inside the Setia Spice Arena.

Overwhelmed by the warm welcome, Madhavan wrote, “When 7000 ppl fall silent .. oh man. This was so surreal and flattering.. very moved. Thank you all you young folks .. This has become such a huge responsibility and motivation.. all the love right back at you.”

Pictures from the event were also shared by the official handle of the event. Madhavan can be seen dressed in a white t-shirt paired with a beige jacket and matching trousers. He opted for white shoes to complete the look. “Everybody will achieve some level of success. R Madhavan receives praise for Shaitaan:

Fresh off the success of his latest release, Shaitaan, R Madhavan is receiving a lot of appreciation from audiences for his performance as the menacing villain. Fans largely praised the actor in a negative role, with some even calling him better than Ajay Devgn.

Following its theatrical release on March 8, Shaitaan recently hit OTT and is streaming on Netflix. “Ghar ke darwaze band rakhna, kahi Shaitaan na aa jaye, Shaitaan starts streaming at midnight, on Netflix!,” the streaming giant wrote on Instagram.

It tells the story of a family held hostage at their own home by a man who practices black magic.
