Poonam Pandey's Ex-Husband Sam Bombay BREAKS SILENCE On Her Sudden Death: 'Something Doesn't Feel Right'

Poonam Pandey’s former husband Sam Bombay has finally issued a statement regarding the actress’ sudden death. On Saturday morning, Sam took to his Instagram handle to offer his condolences and shared that it is hard to believe for him that Poonam is no more. He urged everyone to keep asking questions and argued that something about her death did not “feel right”.

“I have not been able to fully process this. It certainly can’t be true. And I don’t want to believe it is. I’ll compose my emotions and post something shortly. Please pray for Poonam,” Sam wrote and then added, “I thank everyone for their condolences but I’ll request you to assess and ask questions. Something doesn’t feel right.”

Poonam Pandey married Sam Bombay in September 2020 but in just a few days, she shocked everyone by accusing him of molestation. The then-couple was in Goa for their honeymoon when Poonam filed an FIR against Sam and accused him of molesting, threatening and assaulting her.

Poonam Pandey passed away on Thursday, February 1. The news of her death was first revealed in a post shared on her official Instagram handle. “This morning is a tough one for us. Deeply saddened to inform you that we have lost our beloved Poonam to cervical cancer. Every living form that ever came in contact with her was met with pure love and kindness. In this time of grief, we would request for privacy while we remember her fondly for all that we shared,” the post read.

Several celebrities including Kangana Ranaut, Anupam Kher, Munawar Faruqui, Karan Kundrra, Divya Agarwal and Pooja Bhatt among others paid their tributes to the actress.

However, Poonam Pandey’s sudden demise has also left the nation confused, with many speculating that it might be a publicity stunt. Several people took to social media on Friday to post that the actress didn’t “look sick”. The actress even shot with a celebrity photographer two days back. Some doubted the death of the Lock Upp star, suspecting that her official account might be hacked. Others believed that sudden deaths are uncommon for cervical cancer patients, and if her demise is genuine, there is a call for an investigation.
