For the past few months, power star Pawan Kalyan has been busy with politics, taking in the role of Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh after his historic win in June. His political commitments had put a halt on his film commitments, several reports stated. Now according to reports, the actor is ready to be back in action and the film scene with one of his upcoming releases, titled OG.
If the reports are to be believed, the actor has given shooting dates for OG to the producers. He is expected to resume the project in October. Reports state that he has given 12 days for its filming and has asked the makers to schedule more dates in October. The actor recently met the producer of the project DVV Danayya to discuss the schedule and filming dates.
Pawan Kalyan is yet to resume the shoots for his other projects, which include the releases Ustaad Bhagat Singh and Hari Hara Veera Mallu. According to the reports, the films were being delayed because of the power star’s other commitments. He is expected to allocate filming dates for Ustaad Bhagat Singh this year and complete its shooting by 2025. For Hari Hara Veera Mallu, he has to physically prepare himself ahead of its shoot. So, he will reportedly start his training in September.
Pawan’s next OG, also titled They Call Him OG is being helmed by Sujeeth, also credited as its writer. The cast includes Pawan Kalyan and Emraan Hashmi, who is making his Telugu cinema debut, along with Priyanka Arul Mohan. It is being produced by D V V Danayya under the banner of D V V Entertainment. The music in the film will be handled by Thaman S while the cinematographer is Ravi K Chandran and Naveen Nooli is doing the editing. The film is expected to be released next year, the reports say.
While Ustaad Bhagat Singh is being helmed by Harish Shankar and Hari Hara Veera Mallu is a Krish Jagarlamudi and A M Jyothi Krishna directorial.
