Official Teaser Of Pushpa 2 To Be Unveiled On Allu Arjun's Birthday

In 2021, Allu Arjun, already a top-league actor in the Telugu industry, broke into the pan-Indian scene with the film Pushpa: The Rise. The film became a huge success with many of its dialogues and punchlines resonating with the youth. Allu Arjun was perhaps seen in his massiest avatar yet with his suave and larger-than-life performance. Lead actress Rashmika Mandanna was given the sobriquet ‘National Crush’ after the movie as the nation swooned over her. The sequel to the film had been announced while the movie was still running in theatres.

Pushpa 2 has been in the filming stages for a while with the makers releasing periodic updates about it at regular intervals. As it is customary in South Indian industries to release crucial updates about a movie on the lead actor’s birthday, the same will be done for Allu Arjun. On Tuesday, the official handle of the Pushpa team revealed that the official teaser of the sequel will be out on April 9, on the occasion of Allu Arjun’s birthday.

Along with the information, the makers also released a poster which simply shows a foot wearing a payal in the backdrop of lit diyas. This has piqued the interest of fans as well. Allu Arjun fans have twice the reason to be happy as they celebrate their idol’s birthday and also get to witness the long-awaited teaser of Pushpa 2: The Rule.

To raise interest in Pushpa 2: The Rule, the producers released a special teaser last year called Where is Pushpa. In the three-minute and fourteen-second video, Pushpa is seen being shot in the process of escaping Tirupati jail. People are furious and march to the streets in protest as word of Pushpa’s escape spreads quickly. Meanwhile, Pushpa’s being alive is confirmed by a video captured by a tiger-trap camera hidden inside a forest. Pushpa 2 will be released on August 15, coinciding with Independence Day.
