Ram Charan, despite being the son of Megastar Chiranjeevi, has carved a fanbase of his own in the South. In a situation like this, several reports have come out that not Allu Arjun, but Ram Charan was offered to act in Gangotri by the director, K. Raghavendra Rao. Since Charan did not have much grip on acting at that time, the movie was offered to Allu Arjun. The movie was a blockbuster hit and most importantly, its songs have reached a range.

Rumours also suggest that his father, Chiranjeevi, wanted Ram Charan to complete his acting training before making his debut in the film Gangotri. Consequently, he debuted with Chirutha in 2007 after completing his training in acting.

Currently, Ram Charan’s movie Game Changer is targeting a December 2024 release with reports indicating that there will be no clash with Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2, which is scheduled to be released on December 6, 2024. However, two more movies of Ram Charan are there in the line-up.
