A promiscuous lover in the Vasai West, in Mumbai, brutally murdered his girlfriend in broad daylight, recently. The incident occurred in the middle of the road. The girl was beaten to death by a man called Rohit Yadav. The incident was recorded on camera by a bystander on the road, who stood and watched but did not intervene to stop the assault. Rohit has been arrested by the police. The victim, Aarti Yadav was chased down by him on the road, with a spanner and caused several blows to her chest and her head, after which she fell.
The ruthless killing of this 22-year-old girl became a cause of public outrage as the video surfaced online. Mass anger is being expressed for this incident across Maharashtra. Anshuman Vichare, a Marathi actor, director and producer took to Facebook and expressed fury on this ordeal. He is known for his impeccable comic timing and making people laugh usually, but this time around he was infuriated. An active user of social media, Anshuman, did not hesitate to express his disdain for this occurrence. He shared a post saying, “Yesterday, a young woman was brutally murdered by the accused in the Vasai Chinchpada area. The most annoying thing is that the murderer killed her in front of everyone. But no one tried to save her. Are you so worried about the stone? It was a lot of trouble watching that video. Please don’t be a bystander. This thing can happen to anyone. I request police to make everyone fear the law. The whole picture is heartbreaking."
