No wax statue for Kapil Sharma at Madamme Tussauds anytime soon
Apart from clearing the speculation about Kapil Sharma, the authorities also stated that Delhi would soon become a new location for the museum.

Putting an end to all the speculation about TV actor and stand-up comic Kapil Sharma's wax statue, authorities at Madamme Tussauds have confirmed that they have no plans of adding him to the museum.

“Thanks for getting in touch. We currently don’t have any plans to make a figure of Kapli Sharma at Madame Tussauds London, but we will take the suggestion into consideration for the future, thank you. Once we have confirmed a new figure we always publish the news on our website and social media pages first, so stay tuned there to get the official up to date latest figure news.” They stated in a mail.

Rumours were going around in the industry and social media that popular comedian Kapil Sharma was all set to get his statue at Madame Tussauds Museum, making him the first Indian television actor to get the honour. However, it seems that he will not be getting a statue anytime soon.

Apart from clearing the speculation about Kapil Sharma, the authorities also stated that Delhi would soon become a new location for the museum.

“At this early stage, all we can confirm is that Delhi will be become the newest location for a Madame Tussauds wax attraction in early 2017. Full details of the experiences and celebrity figures to be featured are still being finalised. As soon as we have any further information we will be sure to pass on.”, they reported.
