Kartik Aaryan’s look in his upcoming film Dhamaka is the new buzz. The Bollywood actor released the teaser of the Netflix movie and the talk around it is on. What’s got the internet talking is his look having uncanny resemblance with the character of ‘Professor’ from popular Spanish Netflix series, Money Heist. Kartik is seen sporting longer hair than usual and wearing glasses and a formal suit.
The teaser sees him as an anchor of a news channel. He is dramatically prepping up for his next words before going live, under the guidance of his colleague, played by Amruta Subhash. The teaser video of a few seconds definitely looked interesting but so is Kartik’s look in it.

Netflix India’s official Instagram account shared a meme, comparing his look to the Professor from Money Heist. Fans took to the comment to agree that the similarity between the characters is uncanny.

The movie is directed by Neerja fame director, Ram Madhvani. Speaking of the experience of working with Ram, Kartik said in a statement, “Working with a maverick like Ram has allowed me to explore and showcase a new facet of my personality. I am thrilled that the film will reach audiences and my fans all around the world on Netflix.” The flick also stars Super 30actress, Mrunal Thakur. Gully Boyfame Amruta has been roped in for a crucial role.
It is also widely discussed that Dhamaka is the remake of a popular 2013 South-Korean film The Terror Live. This film has Ha Jung-woo as the news anchor and revolves around the live broadcast of a terrorist attack on Han river’s Mapo Bridge. The movie received several nominations and awards in ceremonies like 14th Busan Film Critics’ Awards, 22nd Buil Film Awards and 34th Blue Dragon Film Awards to name a few.
