Munawar Faruqui has taken a dig at Aditya Narayan amid his phone-throwing controversy. On Wednesday, the Bigg Boss 17 winner took to his X (formerly known as Twitter) handle and gave a twist to the song ‘Papa Kehte Hain’ song, which is sung by Aditya’s father, Udit Narayan. “Papa kehte hain, badnaam karega! Beta humare aise kaand karega,” the stand-up comedian wrote. He also added the hashtag ‘Aditya Narayan’.
Earlier this week, a shocking video of Aditya Narayan from one of his recent concerts went viral on social media. In the clip, Aditya was seen performing to Aaj Ki Raat from Shah Rukh Khan’s Don when he lost his cool over a fan. He appeared to hit the fan with his microphone. He then snatched the fan’s phone and threw it into the crowd before he continued to perform. Aditya was dubbed as ‘arrogant’ following the incident.

However, later, the event organiser broke his silence on the controversy and said that the fan was allegedly not a student. The organiser added that the man was irritating Aditya throughout the performance and eventually, the singer lost his cool.
“That boy was not even a college student, he must be someone from outside the college. He was constantly dragging Aditya’s feet nonstop. He was very irritating. He banged his phone on Aditya’s feet multiple times. After that only did he lose his cool. He must have taken almost 200 selfies with this student. The whole concert went smooth apart from this. After this incident, the show went on for almost two hours. If the student was right, he would have had come forward,” the event manager told Zoom. He then added that even Darshan Rawal has refused to perform at colleges due to these incidents.
