Man Of Steel's Henry Cavill And Girlfriend Natalie Viscuso Announce Pregnancy

Henry Cavill, popular for his roles in The Witcher and The Tudors, is expecting his first child with girlfriend Natalie Viscuso, an entertainment executive. The news was confirmed by The Times. The actor, at the red-carpet premiere of his latest film, The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare, talked about the life update. “I’m very excited about it,” the 40-year-old star shared with Access Hollywood. “Natalie and I are both very excited. I’m sure you’ll see much more of that,” he added. When asked if his co-star Henry Golding, a father of two, inspired him to be a dad, Cavill replied that his parents inspired him to grow his family.

Cavill and Viscuso have been dating for several years now and made their relationship public on Instagram in April 2021 by sharing a photo of themselves playing chess.

“This is me looking quietly confident shortly before my beautiful and brilliant love Natalie destroys me at chess,” Cavill captioned the photo. Viscuso added in her identical post, “teaching my dear Henry how to play some chess…or…maybe he let me win?”

The couple’s first red-carpet debut was in New York City in October 2022 for the premiere of Cavill’s Netflix film Enola Holmes 2. It was followed by another appearance in January for the London premiere of his action-comedy Argylle.

Aside from chess, the couple’s interest in games has led to a professional project. They announced in December 2022 that they would be turning the Warhammer 40,000 game into a live-action franchise.

Henry, a longtime fan of the Warhammer game, is now collaborating with his girlfriend Natalie Viscuso to build the Warhammer Cinematic Universe.

Taking to Instagram, Henry shared, “For 30 years I have dreamt of seeing a Warhammer universe in live action. Now, after 22 years of experience in this industry, I finally feel that I have the skill set and experience to guide a Warhammer Cinematic Universe into life.”

Cavill, 40, and Viscuso, 34, now often appear together at red-carpet premieres and share photos of each other on Instagram. Cavill is renowned for portraying Clark Kent/Superman in the DC Extended Universe, while Viscuso holds the position of vice president of TV at Vertigo Entertainment. Previously, she served as vice president of television and digital studios at Legendary Entertainment, a production company involved in Man of Steel.
