The special premiere of Jio Studios and Aamir Khan’s Productions ‘Laapataa Ladies’ was held in Bhopal. The trailer has been receiving a phenomenal response from the audience. As the film was shot at the real location of Sehore village in Bhopal, the team kept a special premiere that was attended by the team along with the villagers. As the team reached the special premiere they received a grand welcome by the people of Sehore with a local band in Bhopal.
The team of Laapataa Ladies, director Kiran Rao along with the cast Pratibha Ranta, Sparsh Shrivastav, and Nitanshi Goel went to Bhopal for the special premiere of the film. Interestingly, the team was welcomed by the people of Sehore with a local band in Bhopal. The band was the local band from the village that we got to see in the area. It was interesting to see the team getting welcomed by the local band with all their equipment giving real vibes. The team was seen enjoying their welcome and the villagers were also happy to have the team in their village. The cast was seen interacting with the villagers and the exchange of gratitude was witnessed.
Recently, Aamir and Kiran also graced the stage of News18 India Chaupal when they opened up on their film Laapata Ladies and talked about working with Rao after the divorce. “Has a doctor said that when a divorce happens, you immediately become enemies? I consider myself fortunate that Kiran came into my life, and our journey has been very fulfilling for me. We have created a lot together, both personally and professionally, and we will continue to move forward together. We are connected on a human and emotional level, and we will always be. We are like a family,” he said.

The film is releasing on March 1st, 2024, and has been made under the banner of Aamir Khan Productions and Kindling Productions, with the script based on an award-winning story by Biplab Goswami. The screenplay and dialogue are written by Sneha Desai, while the additional dialogues have been jotted down by Divyanidhi Sharma.
