Adipurush cast has added Kriti Sanon to play Sita opposite Prabhas. Meanwhile, Sunny Singh too has come on board the movie as Lakshman. The new cast was officially announced on Friday morning. Kriti took to social media to announce her stint in Adipurush. She posed besides Prabhas, who plays Ram, director Om Raut and Sunny Singh as the news was shared.
“A new journey begins.. #ADIPURUSH This one is too special.. Proud, honoured and beyond excited to be a part of this magical world (sic),” Kriti wrote on social media.
Adipurush also casts Saif Ali Khan as Raavan. The movie is eyeing August 11,2022 release. The movie has begun production in February. Adipurush is Om’s new directorial after last year’s blockbuster Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior.
With Independence Day falling on a Monday in 2022, the movie will get a five-day extended opening weekend at the box office.
Adipurish film will be released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada. It is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Om, Prasad Sutar and Rajesh Nair.
