Known for her impeccable fashion sense, Katrina looked radiant as she celebrated the festive occasion. According to a report by Hindustan Times, the black patch on Katrina’s arm is likely a diabetes patch, used to monitor blood sugar levels. Such patches, also known as continuous glucose monitors (CGMs), are typically worn by individuals managing diabetes. These devices help in tracking glucose levels throughout the day without the need for constant finger pricks. While there is no official confirmation that Katrina Kaif has diabetes, some fans offered an alternative explanation. “It could be a fitness tracker like Ultrahuman, which monitors blood sugar, heart rate, and even sleep patterns,” speculated a social media user, pointing to Katrina’s well-known dedication to fitness.

Diabetes patches are commonly worn by individuals with type-1 diabetes and advanced type-2 diabetes to continuously monitor blood sugar levels. These patches help patients manage their condition more effectively by providing real-time data, enabling them to make timely decisions regarding their insulin intake.

Despite the curiosity surrounding the patch, Katrina appeared unfazed and in high spirits, waving to fans and posing for selfies at the event, where she was the guest of honour for a jewellery brand’s Navratri celebration.
