Kartik Aaryan is one of the busiest actors currently. He has been announcing films back to back. Recently, Kartik completed the shooting of Chandu Champion. Well, there is a fresh update about his film Aashiqui 3. The much-anticipated project has undergone a significant transformation. According to recent reports, the romantic drama has been retitled “Tu Aashiqui Hai” and is likely to go on floors later this year.
Bollywood Hungama quoted the Times Now report and mentioned, “Aashiqui 3 is now titled Tu Aashiqui Hai. It is based on the 1981 film, Basera, starring Shashi Kapoor, Rakhee, and Rekha. The film will go on floors later this year. Tripti and Kartik will play the lead roles, and the producers are yet to lock one more actress for the movie.” On September 5, 2022, Kartik Aaryan shared the motion poster on his Instagram and wrote, “Ab Tere Bin Ji Lenge Hum/ Zeher Zindagi Ka Pi Lenge Hum #Aashiqui3 This one is going to be Heart-wrenching !! My First with Basu Da ”

Talking to Variety about Aashiqui 3, Kartik said, “The timeless classic ‘Aashiqui’ is something I grew up watching and working on ‘Aashiqui 3’ is like a dream come true. I feel privileged yet grateful collaborating with Bhushan Kumar and Mukesh Bhatt for this opportunity. I’ve been a big fan of Anurag Basu’s work and collaborating with him on this one will definitely shape me in many ways.”
Director Anurag Basu added, “‘Aashiqui’ and ‘Aashiqui 2’ were emotions for the fans that has remained in hearts till date, the aim is to carry the legacy ahead in the best possible way. It’d be my first venture with Kartik Aaryan, who is known for his hard work, dedication, grit and determination towards his work and I’m truly looking forward to this one.”
Kartik Aaryan is gearing up for the release of Chandu Champion. The film directed by Kabir Khan and bankrollled by Sajid Nadiadwala will be releasing in cinemas on June 14th, 2024. He has recently completed the shoot. Chandu Champion is a sports drama portraying the life of Murlikant Petkar, India’s first Paralympic gold medalist in freestyle swimming. Apart from this, Kartik Aaryan also has ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.
