Jiya Shankar Gives a Befitting Reply To Troll For Taking a Dig At Her: 'It Is So Orthodox of You...'

Actress Jiya Shankar recently took to her X (formerly known as Twitter) handle to school a troll who attacked her for one of her old statements. In the old video, Jiya was heard saying she does not need anyone because she is an independent woman who earns and can handle her life on her own. However, the troll attacked Jiya for her statement and argued “This is the difference between girls and boys.”
Reacting to the troll, Jiya highlighted her journey and emphasized that success knows no gender boundaries. She further criticized the troll for perpetuating outdated stereotypes. “The girl after getting a job only dreamed of supporting her single mother so that one day she could buy a house for her mom and tell her not to work anymore and guess what – she did! This isn’t even about men/women and it’s so orthodox of you to do this comparison in this generation and century. May god make you capable enough to get a real job and support your family instead of doing this on X :)” she wrote.
