In Thund First Look, Biju Menon's Stylish Cop Avatar

The first look of the film Thundu, directed by debutant Riyas Shereef, with Biju Menon in the lead has been revealed. The actor shared the first-look poster on his social media, announcing a global release on February 16, 2024, for this comedy entertainer.

The poster showcases Biju Menon alongside Shine Tom Chacko, Unnimaya Prasad, Shaju Sreedhar, Noushad Ali, and Zhinz Shan against the backdrop of a police bus emitting smoke. Biju Menon, holding a ballistic shield, appears poised to disembark from the bus. The imagery suggests an engaging police narrative, with Biju Menon’s character building anticipation for an exciting viewing experience. Specifics regarding the film’s plot are being kept confidential.

Ashiq Usman, in collaboration with cinematographer-turned-producer Jimshi Khalid under Ashiq Usman Productions, is producing Thundu. This film marks the fifteenth venture for the production house, known for recent successes like Tovino Thomas’ Thallumaala. Co-written by Riyas and Kannappan, with Jimshi Khalid as the cinematographer and Nabu Usman as the editor, Thundu assembles a skilled technical team for its production.

Following his appearance in Garudan, the National Award-winning actor is set to feature in Jis Joy’s thriller drama, Thalavan, alongside Asif Ali. The recently revealed motion poster showcases both Biju Menon and Asif Ali in police attire, accompanied by a compelling background score. Despite this, the film’s theatrical release date remains undisclosed. Biju Menon also has other projects in the pipeline, such as Vishnu Narayan’s Nadanna Sambhavam and Vishnu Mohan’s romantic film, Kadha Innuvare.
