Hina Khan Is 'Very Strong' Amid Cancer Diagnosis, Shivangi Joshi Says 'We Are Praying For Her'

Shivangi Joshi has reacted to Hina Khan’s cancer diagnosis. The two used to work together in the popular show, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. In the Rajan Shahi show, while Shivangi used to play the role of Nayra, Hina used to essay the role of her mother, Akshara.

In a recent interview, Shivangi Joshi called Hina Khan a ‘fighter’ and revealed that they are still in touch with each other. The former Balika Vadhu actress shared that she is planning to meet Hina soon and hoped for her recovery. “I’m still in touch with her. We spoke yesterday. She is okay. She is very strong. She is a fighter and she will be fine soon. We are all praying for her. I will meet her soon. She will get well super soon,” Shivangi told Pinkvilla.

On June 28, Hina Khan confirmed that she had been diagnosed with stage three breast cancer. She took to her Instagram handle to share the heartbreaking news with her fans. Hina penned down a long note and shared that her treatment has already begun and assured all that she is “doing well”.

“Hello Everyone, To address the recent rumour, I want to share some important news with all the Hinaholics and everyone who loves and cares for me. I have been diagnosed with stage three breast cancer. Despite this challenging diagnosis, I wish to reassure everyone that I am doing well. I am strong, determined and fully committed to overcoming this disease. My treatment has already begun and I am ready to do everything necessary to emerge from this even stronger,” Hina wrote.

“I kindly ask for your respect and previously during this time. I deeply appreciate your love, strength and blessings. Your personal experiences, anecdotes and supportive suggestions would mean the world to me as I navigate this journey. I, along with my family and loved ones, remain focused, determined and positive. With the grace of the almighty, we believe I will overcome this challenge and will be completely healthy. Please send your prayers blessings and love,” she added.

Since then, the 36-year-old actress has been sharing several motivating posts online, hoping for her speedy recovery. She even chopped her hair in one of the videos. In another, she was seen getting emotional with her mother. In one of her recent posts, Hina expressed that her boyfriend, Rocky has been her greatest “strength” during these tough times.
