Fahmaan Khan BREAKS SILENCE On Shweta Tiwari Dating Rumours: 'What Our Relationship...'

Fahmaan Khan has opened up about his dating rumours with Shweta Tiwari. In a recent interview, Fahmaan revealed that their relationship rumours made headlines while they were working together on the show, Mere Dad Ki Dulhan. He admitted that they had a “great bond” but dismissed their dating rumours.

“Mere har show mein rumour aata hain yaar. Mein toh unko guru ji bulata tha and she used to call me sakhi as I was her confidante on that show. (Every show I’m in, there are always rumours. I used to call her ‘guru ji’ and she used to call me ‘sakhi’ because I was her confidante on that show.) She used to talk to me about whatever she was feeling. We had a great bond,” Fahmaan told Pinkvilla.

Asked if the Imlie actor tried to avoid Shweta Tiwari during that time because she was going through a divorce, Fahmaan clarified, “We know how we were connected, how we got along, and what our relationship was like. If there was something to hide, there would have been a problem. When you are actually in a relationship and people notice, you become a little conscious that people might find out, but if there is nothing, then you don’t have to be conscious.”

Fahmaan revealed that their dating rumours first made headlines after he went to meet Shweta during the coronavirus-induced lockdown. “There was a rumour that came up because I had met her during Covid, under the building, and someone spread the rumour that if you are meeting someone during Covid, it can only mean one thing, etc, etc. We didn’t even bother talking about it; we laughed a lot about it. And after that, whenever I work with any co-actor, there’s always a link-up rumour,” he said.

Fahmaan shared that even though he is still in touch with Shweta, they do not get time to talk enough because of their respective busy schedules.

Shweta Tiwari was previously married to Raja Chaudhary. The two tied the knot in 1998 but parted ways in 2007. They have a daughter – Palak Tiwari. Following her separation, Shweta married Abhinav Kohli. However, in 2019, the actress filed a complaint of domestic violence against Abhinav. They eventually got divorced.
