After impressing the audience with his villain avatar in Salman Khan starrer Tiger 3, Emraan Hashmi is now rumoured to be joining Adivi Sesh for G2 aka Goodachari 2. As per sources, the producers of the film are looking to collaborate with Emraan for G2. However, details about his role are being kept under wraps. While there is no official confirmation regarding Emraan being in talks with the makers of G2, it will be interesting to see what new he will offer to his fans if he comes on board.
What Do We Know About Goodachari 2?
Goodachari 2 is one of the biggest spy franchises in the country. The film’s shoot began last year in Hyderabad. A five-storey glass set was constructed for the same. In January, the team headed to Europe for the international schedule as well. The film is Produced by TG Vishwa Prasad, and Abhishek Agarwal, under the banner of People Media Factory, Abhishek Agarwal Arts, and AK Entertainments is directed by Vinay Kumar Sirigineedi. Besides Adivi Sesh, it also stars Banita Sandhu in the lead.

Meanwhile, Emraan Hashmi was last seen in Tiger 3 along with Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif. The film and Emraan’s negative role in it was widely appreciated by all. In a recent interview, the actor also reacted to the immense praise being showered on him for the film and described it as genuinely remarkable.
“I was sold on the idea to play a villain who is as shrewd and cunning as he is powerful enough to take on an iconic hero like Tiger in hand-to-hand combat,” he said and then added, “It is truly special when a film keeps giving you appreciation and respect again and again. This means that a film has made a place for itself in the books of time.”
