While promoting his last released Animal, Ranbir Kapoor, in a media interaction, said, “His (Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s) next film (Spirit) is with Prabhas Anna. So, if he has a small role for me, I would love to be a part of that also.” Moreover, when Nandamuri Bala Krishna, who was hosting the promotional event, asked Ranbir to name a friend from the Telugu industry, Vanga was quick to intervene saying ‘Prabhas’. Later, the actor clarified that he is friends with Rashmika Mandanna and Sandeep Reddy Vanga, adding, “I would like to be friends with him (Prabhas), but he does not. I am also a fan of his.”

In a conversation with Galatta Plus, Sandeep Reddy Vanga revealed, “I have completed 60 per cent of the script, and I have to start the film by November or December. At present, Ranbir Kapoor is busy with an interesting lineup of projects including Ramayana, Animal Park and Love & War. Reports have also surfaced suggesting that he will also be seen in the fourth installment of the popular Dhoom franchise.
