While the entire country is outraging over stand-up comic Tanmay Bhat's Snapchat video which had him mimicoing Sachin Tendulkar and Lata Mangeshkar, the two legends had maintained a stoic silence on the issue, untill now.
Speaking to SpotboyE.com, Mangeshkar stated that she hasn't watched the video and doesn't intend to either. "“I have not seen the video, neither do I have any inclination to do so. I will not comment about it," said the legendary singer.
The singer apparently also stated, "I don't know who is Tanmay Bhat is."
Bhat has been facing a lot of flak ever since he used the face swap app on Snapchat to have a hypothetical conversation between Sachin Tendulkar and Lata Mangeshkar over who is a better batsman Virat Kohli or Tendulkar. Bhat made rather crass jokes on the singers' age which has led to nationwide uproar.
Mangeshkar has also called the video illogical and is shocked that her name has been dragged into this.
