Dil Bechara Completes 4 Years: Sanjana Sanghi Remembers Co-Star Sushant Singh Rajput
Dil Bechara was an adaptation of John Green's novel The Fault in Our Stars. Sanjana played the role of Kizie Basu in the Mukesh Chhabra directorial.

Sanjana Sanghi is known for her role in Dil Bechara, where she starred opposite late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The film completed four years since its debut today, and Sanjana turned to social media to commemorate the occasion. In a long, heartfelt note, the actress remembered the late actor as well as expressed how grateful she was to play the role. The actress shared two photos from Dil Bechara, one with Sushant Singh Rajput from a scene in the film and the other from her introductory scene.

Along with the pictures, Sanjana wrote, “4 years to this most special day. A day for me to reflect on the unbelievable journey thus far, and immerse myself in nostalgia. Can never be grateful enough for the boundless love you have all given Dil Bechara and Kizie Basu, always and always. Can never be grateful enough for the excitement I feel in my heart to be given this opportunity to entertain you all. Thank you. A million times over. Miss you Sush.”

Fans also praised the actress and said, “Your performance is phenomenal.” Another person stated, “Both unbelievable and the beautiful pair u both won our heart…u and Sush sir were so amazing in this movie.”

Dil Bechara was an adaptation of John Green’s novel The Fault in Our Stars. Sanjana played the role of Kizie Basu in the Mukesh Chhabra directed coming-of-age romantic film. Due to the pandemic, the film was directly released on OTT back in 2020. It was also the last film of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput.

Post Dil Bechara, Sanjana Sanghi was seen in Rashtra Kavach Om alongside Aditya Roy Kapur, where she demonstrated her stunt skills. She also appeared in Tarun Dudeja’s 2023 film Dhak Dhak, which stars Dia Mirza, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Ratna Pathak Shah. Sanjana recently acted in the OTT film Who Bhi Din The, starring Rohit Saraf, Adarsh Gourav and others. The film, which concentrated on college drama, was written by Imtiaz Ali’s brother, Sajid Ali. The film was released on March 29 this year. She was also seen alongside Pankaj Tripathi in Zee 5’s film Kadak Singh. Sanjana began her acting career as a child artist in Imtiaz Ali’s Rockstar (2011), playing Nargis Fakri’s sister.
