Did You Know A Young Sharvari Wagh Used To Mimic Aishwarya Rai Bachchan?
Sharavri Wagh revealed she used to mimic Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in her childhood and often compared their looks.

Sharvari Wagh revealed she has been a big Aishwarya Rai Bachchan fan since childhood. Known for her standout performances in films like Munjya, Vedaa and Maharaj, Sharvari is now gearing up for her next project, Alpha. In a recent interview, the actress revealed that Aishwarya has been a “huge inspiration” to her, reflecting the admiration she has for the Bollywood icon. Speaking with Pinkvilla, Sharavri said that she used to mimic Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in her childhood as people would tell her “Aap unke jaise dikhte ho (You look like her).”

Sharvari recalled, “I always tried to mimic Aishwarya Rai ma’am because I have light eyes, and growing up, people would say aap unke jaise dikhte ho (I resembled her). I enjoyed watching all her films, she is so beautiful and an incredible performer.”

Further expressing her admiration for Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Sharvari added, “After watching her movies, I would come home, go to my mom’s cabinet where I kept all her dupattas, and wear them while dancing in front of the mirror. Aishwarya Rai ma’am has always been a huge inspiration to me. I loved her films then and still do.”

In the same interview, Sharvari was also asked whether she got the opportunity to meet her favourite star. She admitted to having met Aishwarya Rai Bachchan but she could not gather the courage to share her experience. All she could say at that moment was, “I am a big fan.”

Coming back to Sharvari Wagh’s Alpha, the Yash Raj film will see the actress taking on the role of a spy alongside Alia Bhatt. The actress recently returned to Mumbai after wrapping up Kashmir’s schedule for the film. Last week, Alia dropped a photo on Instagram, featuring her with Sharvari. Showcasing their backs to the camera, the duo formed a heart shape with their hands above their heads. Along with the picture, Alia wrote, “Love, ALPHA!”

Directed by Shiv Rawail and produced by Aditya Chopra, the spy thriller will also see Bobby Deol playing the role of the antagonist. If the reports are to be believed, Anil Kapoor will also join the cast.
