Rashmika Mandanna debuted in the film industry with the 2016 film Kirik Party and became one of the most sought-after pan-India actresses. She also makes headlines often for her rumoured relationship with the actor Vijay Deverakonda. Recently, she shared a quote on her Instagram story (not available now), that again sparked the headlines of their reported relationship. The quote read,” I just want to tell you, thank you for coming into my life.” Though the Kirik Party actress didn’t mention Vijay’s name, her fans opined that the post was for the Geetha Govindam actor. Rashmika and Vijay have not commented anything on this issue.

Rashmika has spoken about her rapport with Vijay, more than often, in several interviews. One of her interviews with the portal We Are Yuvaa surfaced some time back. While speaking about her Geetha Govindam co-actor, she told the portal, “Viju and I, we sort of grew up together. So anything I do in my life right now, he has a contribution to it. I take his advice in anything that I do. I need his opinion, and he is not a ‘yes’ person.” Rashmika added that Vijay is on the point with his opinions. According to the 28-year-old actress, the Geetha Govindam actor has supported her personally, more than anyone else in my entire life. “So, I feel he’s someone who I respect”, she concluded her point.

Reports related to Vijay and Rashmika’s engagement and wedding have surfaced on social media numerous times. In March, there were reports that the two are spending vacations together in the Maldives and that they are going to tie the knot. But Vijay himself responded that there is no truth in the news.

According to a report by the Hindustan Times, Vijay and Rashmika aren’t looking at being open about their relationship. The report quoted that both celebrities are not at all planning to go public with their romance. They don’t plan to take their relationship to the next level by exchanging rings. The report stated that they are living together, are happy and content with how their relationship is going, and don’t feel the need to get engaged at the moment.
