In an interview with CBS Sunday Morning, Cox disclosed that she still communicates with her late co-star and often senses his presence. When the interviewer asked about her spiritual beliefs, the actress claimed that she feels the spirits of departed loved ones, such as her parents and Matthew, who continue to guide her.
Cox explained, “I think he’s probably one of the funniest human beings in the world. You know, he’s just so funny, he genuinely has a huge heart, and obviously struggled. I’m so thankful, I got to work so closely with him for so many years. He visits me a lot, if we believe in that.” Further when the interviewer spoke about her fascination with spirituality, the actress added, “I talked to my mom, my dad, Matthew. I feel like there are a lot of people that I think that guide us. I do sense Matthew around, for sure.”

Matthew Perry’s cause of death was disclosed almost two months after the actor was found dead at his Los Angeles residence. According to reports obtained by ET, Perry’s cause of death happened due to the acute effects of ketamine. Reportedly, the 17 Again star was receiving ketamine infusion therapy to manage depression and anxiety. The report also mentioned contributing factors which led to Perry’s death, which includes drowning, coronary artery disease and the effects of buprenorphine, a drug used in the treatment of opioid dependence. The report stated that no foul play was found.
