Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli have welcomed their second baby. The couple announced that they have welcomed a baby boy on February 15. Anushka took to Instagram and revealed that they have named the boy Akaay. “With abundant happiness and our hearts full of love, we are pleased to inform everyone that on 15th February, we welcomed our baby boy Akaay and Vamika’s little brother into this world! We seek your blessings and good wishes in this beautiful time in our lives. We request you to kindly respect our privacy at this time,” read the post.

Friends, well-wishers and colleagues took to the comments section to congratulate the couple. Among those who sent out best wishes was Alia Bhatt. She wrote, “How beautiful! Congratulations!” She also dropped a red heart emoji.

Alia and Anushka have always been supportive of each other. When Alia Bhatt won the National Award for Gangubai Kathiawadi, Anushka had left a red heart emoji in the comments section. It all started after industrialist Harsh Goenka took to his X handle recently and claimed that a baby is going to be born in a few days. Without naming Virat or Anushka, he wrote, “A new baby is to be born in the next few days! Hope the baby takes India to great heights like the greatest cricketing father. Or will it follow the mother and be a film star?” Goenka also used the hashtags ‘Made In India’ and ‘To Be Born In London’. This left everyone convinced that the industrialist was talking about Anushka and Virat.
