Actor Anil Kapoor and proud father of Sonam Kapoor, couldn’t contain his admiration for his son-in-law, Anand Ahuja, at a recent event. He spoke warmly about Anand and expressed his gratitude for having him as part of their family. Anil Kapoor praised Anand’s qualities, highlighting him as a fantastic husband to his daughter, Sonam Kapoor.
“I am so blessed to have him as my son-in-law. He is my son. He is wonderful,” Anil Kapoor said. He didn’t stop there. Anil Kapoor also admired his daughter’s presence and said, “How beautiful she is looking.” To this, Sonam humorously quipped, “Is this because of him or genetics?”
Anil Kapoor quickly responded, “I think now more because of him. Because he is sharing the load, you know. He is in Delhi looking after Vayu. There are just so many things. The calmness, the way you and him both are. I can observe it from a distance. The mental load that he is sharing. I can sense it. I can feel it. Nazar na lage. Fingers crossed.”
Following his successful ventures such as Animal and Fighter, Anil Kapoor is now preparing for his upcoming project, Subedaar, set to premiere on Prime Video. In this film, Anil Kapoor will portray the character of Subedaar Arjun Singh, delving into his challenges in civilian life while grappling with a strained relationship with his daughter amidst societal complexities. The makers unveiled the first look of the film on March 19, offering a glimpse into the compelling narrative ahead.

The actor is also gearing up for director Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s upcoming project, Animal Park, a sequel to the 2023 action film Animal, which starred Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role. Additionally, Anil Kapoor will also be seen in Tum Hi Ho, where he will share the screen with Harshvardhan Rane.
According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, Anil has officially joined the esteemed YRF spy universe. The actor is set to portray the character of the RAW Chief in director Shiv Rawail’s upcoming project.
