Ajith Kumar To Join Yash Starrer KGF 3? Tamil Superstar Signs 2 Films With Prashanth Neel: Report

Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar has signed two projects with KGF and Salaar director Prashanth Neel, a new report has claimed. If this is true, this marks Ajith and Prashanth’s first collaboration. This has also paved the way to speculations that Ajith might join the KGF universe and could appear in KGF 3.

“Ajith and Prashanth had a meeting during VidaaMuyarchi schedule break last month. Prashanth has asked over three years of Ajith’s time. Their first collaboration, which could be AK 64, will be a standalone project. This will go on floors in 2025 and release in 2026,” a source told DT Next.

The insider also claimed Ajith and Prashanth have narrowed down the Tamil actor’s position in the KGF universe. Apparently, the director is planning to make a separate universe which will crossover with the KGF world. “The climax of the second film will lead to KGF 3 and Ajith’s character is touted to be the biggest of them all in Prashanth Neel Cinematic Universe,” the grapevine said. This project would either be Ajith’s 65th or 66th film.

However, neither Prashanth nor Ajith have reacted to the claims.

Speaking of Ajith Kumar’s upcoming film Vidaa Muyarchi, the shooting has been put on hold until the actor’s returns. Directed by Magizh Thirumeni, the film is about a married couple whose trip takes a dark turn when the wife goes missing. The husband desperately searches for her while an unknown villain creates obstacles along the way. The film also features Priya Bhavani Shankar, Sanjay Dutt and Trisha Krishnan in pivotal roles.

Meanwhile, Prashanth Neel’s upcoming film is anticipated to be NTR Jr’s 31st project, and the production team is currently finalizing the shooting schedules. The director is simultaneously dedicated to filming ‘Salaar 2’ featuring Prabhas in the lead role.
