Bollywood veteran actress Rekha joined soon-to-wed couple Aditi Rao Hydari and Siddharth at Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal’s wedding reception in Mumbai on Sunday night. The couple coincidentally made their entry to the bash with Rekha and ended up posing with her for photos. Rekha made a dazzling entry on the red carpet and shared the frame with the couple. As soon as Siddharth spotted Rekha, he fell on her feet and got her blessings.
The trio then smiled wide for the cameras. Another video also showed the couple escorting her out of the bash. Rekha was seen bidding goodbye to Aditi and Sid when Aditi planted a kiss on Rekha’s cheek. Rekha also appeared to be teasing the couple. Watch the videos below:
Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal got married on Sunday, June 23. They held a civil marriage ceremony. Sonakshi revealed they chose to marry on June 23 because seven years ago, on the same day, they started dating. Sharing the photos from their civil marriage ceremony, Sonakshi wrote, “On this very day, seven years back (23.06.2017) in each others eyes, we saw love in its purest form and decided to hold on to it.”
“Today that love has guided us through all the challenges and triumphs… leading up to this moment… where with the blessings of both our families and both our gods… we are now man and wife. Here’s to love, hope and all things beautiful with each other, from now until forever ❤️ Sonakshi ♾️ Zaheer 23.06.2024,” she added.
Meanwhile, Aditi and Sid are also expected to tie the knot soon. Aditi Rao Hydari and Siddharth’s love story is not secret. Their romance blossomed during the filming of the 2021 movie Maha Samudram. Since then, they have been together. In March this year, reports of their secret wedding made headlines after Great Andhra claimed that the two took wedding vows at the Sri Ranganayakaswamy temple in Srirangapuram, Wanaparthy District, Telangana.
However, later, Aditi revealed that they are not married but engaged. On March 28, 2024, she dropped an engagement photo with Siddharth. In the picture, they held each other close as Aditi flaunted a diamond ring whereas Siddharth sported a gold band on his ring finger with magenta detailing. Captioning the photo, Aditi wrote, “He said yes! E. N. G. A. G. E. D.”
Siddharth also addressed secret marriage rumours during an event and clarified, “Many told me we had done this (get engaged) in secret. There’s a big difference between doing something privately with family and in secret.”
