Sharma mentioned that she does not want to explain herself or her decision to people. She continued, “If they feel about something, they should… and continue to do so. I am not here to tell anyone ‘I am a good person’ or give them reasons for my actions. I did what I had to do, and I know myself. And just like I don’t want anyone to change for me, I would also not change myself. I am really all settled in the house, and I really love the place.”
Apart from working in Bollywood, Sharma has also worked in Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada films. She made her Bollywood debut with the horror flick, 1920. She was nominated for the Filmfare Best Female Debut Award. She, later, became a household name after she starred in Sudipto Sen’s The Kerala Story.
