Abdu Rozik will be co-hosting Bigg Boss 18 with Salman Khan. As reported by ETimes, the Tajikistani singer has been roped in by the makers of the controversial reality show to host several special segments in the upcoming season. Rozik also confirmed the same and shared that he is excited to be back on the show.
“I am thrilled to be back with Bigg Boss 18 in this new role. My time on Bigg Boss 16 was a beautiful journey, and I’m excited to bring my energy and passion to these special segments. I am working very hard on my language and vocal skills to make sure I give my best. I can’t wait for the audience to see what we have in store,” he said.
Rozik promised that he is going to add a dose of entertainment in Bigg Boss 18 and added, “Being part of Bigg Boss again feels like coming home, but this time with a new role and new responsibilities. I am looking forward to the surprises and engaging moments that we have planned. It’s going to be a season full of excitement, and I hope to bring something special that the viewers will love. Abdu Rozik became a household name in India after he participated in Bigg Boss 16. In the show, his friendship with co-contestants Shiv Thakare, Sajid Khan, MC Stan, Nikrit Kaur Ahluwalia and Sumbul Touqeer Khan became a talking point. They were together referred to by fans as ‘Mandali’.
Abdu’s performance in Bigg Boss 16 was widely loved by all including the host, Salman Khan. He was also often hailed as the cutest contestant in the history of Bigg Boss. Last year, Abdu also made a guest appearance on Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 13 when he was seen supporting his friend, Shiv Thakare.
Meanwhile, Bigg Boss 18 is likely to premiere in October this year. While there is no official confirmation so far, several media reports claim that actress Dalljiet Kaur, social media influencers like Abhishek Malhan, Mr Faisu, Deepika Arya, Dolly Chaiwala, Maxtern, and Thugesh have been approached by the makers to join Bigg Boss 18 as contestants.
