Sreenath Bhasi is set to make a comeback in A M Sidhique’s upcoming film LLB- Lifeline of Bachelors, where he plays the lead role. The family entertainer will also include Vishak Nair, Aswath Lal, Roshan Aboobacker, Pradeep Balan, Sudheesh, Seema G Nair, and Ramesh Kottayam in supporting roles. Originally, the first look of the movie was unveiled in 2022, but a new poster has now been released, revealing the theatrical release date. The film, set on a campus, promises elements of romance, friendship, and suspense, according to sources.
Scheduled for a theatrical release on January 19, LLB- Lifeline of Bachelors is A M Sidhique’s directorial debut. A serving Assistant Commissioner of Police in Feroke, Kozhikode City, Sidhique has crafted the screenplay for the film. The music, composed by Bijibal and Kailash, features lyrics by Santhosh Varma and Manu Manjith. Produced by Mujeeb Randathani under Randathani Films, the movie also introduces a significant role for veteran actor Mamukkoya’s son. The costume design is by Aravind K R, and Atul Vijay takes charge of the editing.
Paired with the Malayalam action queen Vani Viswanath, the actor is set to star in the medical drama Azadi. The character teaser, unveiled by the makers on October 29, provides a glimpse into the film’s hospital-centric narrative.
Directed by Jo George and produced by Faisal Raja under Little Crew Productions, the medical drama Azadi boasts a supporting cast featuring Lal, Saiju Kurup, Boban Samuel, Sabu Ami, TG Ravi, Rajesh Sharma, Jilu Joseph, Abhiram, Anthony Elur, and Abin. Additionally, Sreenath Bhasi is set to feature in films like Idi Mazha Kaatu, Dhuniyavinte Orattathu, Khajuraho Dreams, and Manjummel Boys, all slated for release in 2024. His recent appearances include Lovefully Yours Veda, Corona Dhavan, and Dance Party in the current year.
Meanwhile, the film associations have lifted the ban on Mollywood actors Sreenath Bhasi and Shane Nigam. Sreenath Bhasi, having submitted a written apology to the Producer’s Association, played a key role in the decision. Shane Nigam also showed a willingness to compromise on his compensation, contributing to the resolution.
