Pakistan cricket fans assembled on ‘X’ on Sunday to claim Babar Azam was a better batter than India’s Virat Kohli. Why? Because cricket is all about online banter and some spicy drama, right? Kohli celebrated his 35th birthday by slamming a memorable and match-winning century against South Africa at the glorious Eden Gardens in ICC World Cup 2023 encounter on Sunday. Remaining unbeaten on 101* (121 balls), Kohli matched the record of Little Master Sachin Tendulkar of 49 ODI tons. Kohli also bettered Tendulkar’s 451 innings with a mere 277 innings to reach the elite landmark.

It's Sin to compare Babar Azam to those who play primarily for their personal achievements. Babar Azam's love for his nation is evident in his brisk scoring even in Test matches. In contrast, assess Virat Kohli's strike rate in Test cricket.#FakharZaman #selfish #PAKvENG pic.twitter.com/t65ifXRplT— 56 (@_SKIPPER56) November 5, 2023
This should be common knowledge:King Babar Azam > Fraud Kohli
Babar plays for his team, while Chokli plays for his records. He is the most shameless and selfish batter ever.#INDvsSA #INDvSA #ViratKohli pic.twitter.com/10LJ7W69b4

Just imagine if Babar Azam scored 101* off 121 balls in a team total of 326. Everyone would be calling it a selfish innings. Yet when Virat Kohli does it commentators are hyping it as one the greatest innings of all time. Very interesting. #INDvSA— Haroon (@hazharoon) November 5, 2023
